The 2009 Acura MDX is coming with just one engine model , a 3.9-liter V6 engine that's good for providing 300 horsepower. All models of MDX are featuring a five-speed automatic transmission and Super Handling All-Wheel Drive System (SH-AWD).

 

Compared to other crossover rivals or SUVs equipped with V8 engine , the Acura MDX's V6 can feel a little soft sensation when accelerating from a stop. Once it's on the road , there's enoguh power for any driver's exigences , and passing is never an issue. Under heavy acceleration, there is a bit of engine noise, but we don't think this will be an problem for most owners.
